Todd M. Warner –Founder and Chief Mind

Todd has worked globally with Executives from multiple sectors seeking to transform their companies for almost 20 years.  He founded Like Minds Advisory as a gathering place of interesting people who are dedicated to impacting social systems and shifting how work gets done.  He believes that the gap between the vision held by senior leaders, and what people actually do, day-to-day is vast, and becoming vaster.  LMA was founded with a view that organization’s current approaches to learning and leadership development are stuck, and need an infusion of different thinking. 

Todd has worked around the world, having lived on three continents, and has worked with almost every imaginable industry.   Over his career, Todd has worked in the boutique Executive Development space, leading Learning and Leadership Development for BHP Billiton --a Fortune 50 company, and sitting on the Executive Committee for Duke Corporate Education --the top rated leadership development company in the world, based on rankings by the Financial Times and Fortune Magazine.   Todd's expertise in Learning and Leadership Development has been recognized by awards and publications across the world.

Todd’s roots are in leadership development and learning, having designed, and taught leadership development programs for companies as varied as ArcelorMittal, Royal Dutch Shell, Anglo American, Barclaycard, Nokia, Honeywell, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  He has led focused senior-executive work with Merck, ING, Ericsson, Citibank, and Unilever, and major culture change and safety initiatives at Anglo Platinum and Balfour Beatty. He has also taught for a number of academic institutions, including Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.

He lives in Melbourne, Australia, but keeps a foot planted in the American West.



Byron Hanson

Dr. Byron Hanson has spent over 20 years designing and delivering customized corporate education focused on solving strategic business problems. His passion is leadership development, primarily the facilitation of learning for leaders towards achieving tangible organizational and individual outcomes.

Byron’s roles have included: serving as a Managing Director for Duke CE in California, as an Associate Professor of Leadership at the Curtin Graduate School of Business, and working for Labatt Breweries of Canada providing facilitation, labor relations, and employee development and strategy.

Byron has had the privilege of delivering corporate education in over 25 countries in Europe, North America, and Austral-Asia and his current and past clients include; Microsoft, IBM, Shell, HP, Altera, ANZ Bank, Rio Tinto, QBE Insurance, Transocean Asia Pacific, Woodside Petroleum, BHP Billiton, SCG Thailand, Genpact India, PGN Indonesia, New Zealand Telecom.

Byron has been published in the Wall Street Journal, HR People and Strategy Magazine, Advances in the Development of HR Journal and the Journal of Business and Management. Byron received his PhD from the Curtin Graduate School of Business, holds a Master degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.



Ken Kesslin

More than a decade of corporate experience – in finance, investment banking, sales and management – followed by 14 years as a clinically trained psychotherapist has given Ken a unique perspective on leader development and organizational effectiveness. He knows that people, and the culture they create together, are what make or break any change effort.

Ken coaches senior leaders, designs and delivers development programs, and supports change efforts for clients including Anglo American, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, BHP Billiton, Chanel, Citigroup, Millward Brown, Pfizer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Rockwell Automation, SCG Thailand, The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and The US Army. He has taught for Duke Corporate Education, Melbourne Business School, and Georgetown University.

Ken has worked with leaders and executive teams in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia, and he speaks fluent Portuguese.
